The Faith and Justice Network (FJN) of Liberia Regional Executive Director Rev. Dr. Tolbert Thomas Jallah, Jr. has accused President George Manneh Weah and Liberia’s health Minister Dr.Willimena Jallah for the allege deaths of Liberians at various health centers across the Country.
It can recalled, tens of thousands, of health workers at government run hospitals and clinics in the Country embarked on at- least one week go-slow action in demand of their salaries and other benefits.
Following the strike action by the Liberian health practitioners, Thomas Jallah says, patients who were abandoned at health facilities in Liberia, many of them lost their lives due to the lack of medical attentions.
According to Dr.Jallah, majority of the victims were pregnant women, children, old folks and members of the disabled community.
Addressing the media in an emotional tone in Gbarnga, Friday, October 4, 2019, the Faith and Justice Network (FJN) of Liberia Regional Executive Director Rev.Tolbert Thomas Jallah, Jr. alleged that the Liberian head of State Pres. Weah and his Health Minister Dr.Willimena Jallah are responsible for the deaths of the citizens who allegedly met their expirations during the health workers strike action recently under the ex- soccer legend.
“President Weah and Dr. Jallah are blame for citizens losing their lives, because his government has refused to pay health workforces for months, cutting down their salaries in the name of salary harmonization, this is all together unacceptable, Dr. Thomas Jallah reveals”.
Mr. Tolbert Thomas Jallah, Jr. confidently accused that Minister Willimena Jallah should be arrested and answer questions in court to explain about the health experts strike deed which allegedly resulted to bereavement.
FJN-Regional Director, divulged that CDC policy failure is not the responsibility of the nurses but the health minister policy choice to address the health- personnel concerns.
Also speaking, the civil society institution boss says, President Weah and his entire administration lacks the ability to lead the country in the right direction, maintaining that the Coalition for Democratic Change regime is one of the useless administrations ever in the country history.
He asserted that the current government is poorly handling the economic and rampant corruption is on the unbreakable increase, at the detriment of the electorates.
Additionally, Director Jallah at the same time frowned at members of the 54th National Legislature and the Executive in Liberia over the quest of printing new Liberian Dollars banknotes, when ex- & present officials of government allegedly involve in missing money saga and twenty five (25) million United States Dollars mob-up exercise in the economic are not giving tangible justification.
