Lift Liberia Fellowship Program -LLFP has graduated over thirty (30) Liberian youths from its Leadership and Entrepreneurship School cohort 3 in Liberia.
The Leadership and Entrepreneurship School is basically targeting young people in Liberia’s fifteen counties with several lecturers from across the African continent.
Lift Liberia Fellowship Program is a Non –governmental Youth driven organization with the desire and primary focus of shifting the paradigm of the next generation of leaders.
LLFP provides equitable solutions to the problems that are faced by the youths of Liberia and global village through mentorship, leadership training, civic education, career development and youth empowerment.
Speaking at the start of the graduation ceremony via internet from the United States of America recently, Lift Liberia Fellowship Program Founder and Executive Director Ambassador Gayflor Beyan Garvelee Jr. told the gathering that beneficiaries of the one-month training were taught on basic skills in Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
“It is indeed a powerful moment for me and my staff at LLFP leadership and Entrepreneurship school to release a set of another new breed of emerging leaders from the school that has trained, challenged, refined, and transformed through a vigorous one of intensive training in business, leadership and personal development, Director Garvelee noted”.
The U.S based -Liberian, cautioned graduates of the training to serve as passionate change-makers and ambassadors of a new dawn of leadership in their respective neighbourhoods.
He said let the difference be seen clearly in the graduates and uphold the name of Lift Liberia at their individual areas of assignments.
Ambassador Garvelee used the ceremony to thanks the entire management of LLFP and the Entrepreneurship school head Mr. Raphael Kehinde Faseyei for his selfless efforts, skills, services and commitment he continues to render in branding the institution as one of the outstanding online Leadership centres for youths in Liberia and Africa at large.
Serving as a keynote speaker at LLFP third graduation program, the Founder & Director of Motivate A- Girl Liberia, Ms. Faith N. Siakor who spoke on the theme” Be persistent and passionate about your growth” urged beneficiaries of the initiative not to be complaisant because they have more to achieve.
She indicated that the Liberian society needs youths that are persistent and passionate in order to transform the country to the better.
“You are full of potential, do not sit in your comfort zones, if you want to achieve your goal, get up now and start the process because the future depends on what you do today, Ms. Siakor told the graduates”.
The prestigious Cuttington University graduate challenged the youthful populace to make use of every opportunity in life so as to build their capacities for the betterment of their lives.
Madam Faith N. Siakor also encouraged the heroes to impact their communities, adding that successful people are the one who touches the lives of others.
